Our client is an established payments organisation providing online and POS solutions to the retail market in the UK and Europe. They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team in London. This is a great opportunity for a payments industry sales professional who wants to join a progressive business selling into UK merchants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships and drive sales with UK merchants within the retail and other sectors such as hospitality or travel
- Deliver sales presentations and proposals
- Develop leads within specific territories from internal referrals or by self-introduction activities
- Demonstrate knowledge of the clients’ business and competitive landscape
- Develop and execute on a territory targeted business development plan
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level is desirable but not essential
- Professional training in sales is an asset
- Commercial sales experience selling any of the following solutions:
POS solutions/ e-wallets/ FX/ Payments Solutions
- Proven track record of success in selling to and growing accounts
- Ability to develop and manage own sales book forecast
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customer contacts at all levels
- Effective negotiator, able to overcome objections
