Bandwidth are looking for a ‘Digital Holographic Engineer’ on a permanent basis to join an awarding winning company.

Our client works with central Banks and Governments all across the globe, providing critical products for today’s economy.

The position will be joining the specialist Holographic & Imagining department, where you will join a skilled team this takes part in the origination of security holographic diffractive imageries. In time you will become an expert in operating a form of photolithography which can create brand new cutting-edge holography.

The Role:

  • You will be an expert in the operation of high resolution system in lithography which is customised to invent a range of microstructures.
  • You will be an expert in the operation of software application for a system that translates design patterns into the chosen data files.
  • The ability to deliver the design and production to the agreed due dates.
  • Proven experience in the modification of images and files and the ability to transform it into a format suitable for the machines applicable.
  • Continuous maintenance and correction of key equipment in accordance to ISO 9001 quality systems.

Skill and Experience Required:

  • Degree in Material Science or Physics with some exposure to micro-structures or photonics. Otherwise strong experience in digital process control with good exposure with lithography would be a plus.
  • 2-3 years ideally in mask-less in photolithography or related digital process control.
  • Strong computing skills with the ability to right VBA macros and write or modify code for platforms such as Microsoft.NET.
  • Ideally some practical experience working with optical associated components / lasers.
  • If you have a background in Photonics, Laser Tech, Image processing or Microelectronics this would be advantageous.
